Senior Structural Engineer/Project Manager

We are looking for a Senior Structural Engineer with 8+ years of experience, preferable with at least some experience in consulting engineering. Top candidates will have experience efficiently managing company resources and completing projects on time and on budget, while leading design teams of 5 to 10 members. Candidates will be expected to be detail-oriented, creative, and possess analytical and problem-solving skills. An ideal candidate will display an investigative nature and have great communication skills. Candidates will have knowledge of construction processes, materials, and legal regulations. All candidates must be physically capable of visiting construction sites and clients’ facilities. A PE is required.

Civil/Structural Drafter or Designer

We are looking for a Drafter or Designer with a strong civil/structural background. We believe in the team approach on all projects. The ideal candidate must be willing to work outside of their comfort zone. We are a full-service firm providing Civil/Structural and MEP engineering to our clients. While our team members have specialized skills, everyone must be willing to work across discipline lines.

Mechanical/Piping Drafter or Designer

We are looking for a Drafter or Designer with a strong mechanical/piping or HVAC background. We believe in the team approach on all projects. The ideal candidate must be willing to work outside of their comfort zone. We are a full-service firm providing Civil/Structural and MEP engineering to our clients. While our team members have specialized skills, everyone must be willing to work across discipline lines.

Structural Engineer

Kolby Kirk, Interim Structural Department Manager

Working for PSE helped me narrow that down to a structural focus. I was always interested in structural engineering, but PSE made it more interesting by giving me real life experience and scenarios of what structural engineering is all about.”

Kolby began his career with PSE Designs as an intern during his senior year at the University of South Alabama. After graduation, Kolby was offered a full-time position and is now in his fifth year as a structural engineer for PSE. Aside from structural projects, he works on many civil projects ranging from the residential to the industrial sectors. Kolby has been an integral part of the team at PSE Designs, and we look forward to his future with us.

Jul Hasnan, P.E. Engineering Manager

Jul began his career with PSE Designs as an intern in 2013 as it was just starting to operate as a full company. He is the first employee! After graduation, he was offered a full-time position and spent two years as a junior structural engineer. Jul then had to leave the country due to working visa limitations and joined other companies in Malaysia. While he was away, he gained construction knowledge and project management skills. He rejoined PSE in 2020 as a structural engineer and earned his Professional Engineer (PE) license in 2022. He is currently the Engineering Manager. Jul is a vital part of the team here at PSE Designs. His design and construction skills make him invaluable to the firm and we look forward to his future with us.
